Our team members across research, design, strategy, management, content, data and technology began to build Marcel from the ground up. The first form of Marcel is a mobile app that all Publicis employee will have access to. Through many workshops and interviews with stakeholders, employees, and clients, we identified and created specific features that was priority for Publicis Groupe.

Marcel is an AI based app, and conversation is the primary way to navigate through the different types of features and content. We created multiple conversation trees in order to start sketching out what the user journey might begin to look like. The one above is an example of a conversation tree of a simple action to schedule an appointment with someone.

We sketched out all the various user flows and the different journey to reach every feature. Above is an example of wireframes that illustrate the journey of finding an expert in something.

Our visual design team designed logic, structure, usage, and rules around the visual language and elements. The above is a spatial model of the different layers of spaces that exist within the Marcel App. The back most layer is the conversation layer between the user and Marcel, middle is where the content layer exists, and the layer that sits on top is the utility layer. Below is a few slides from the style guide that define design element usage.
